The Manifesto of the Knights of Joshua
We live in a world where power gathers in the hands of the few while the many struggle to be seen, heard, and valued. Too often, governments, institutions, and religious authorities place dominance above compassion. Too often, belief is used as a weapon rather than a light.
The Knights of Joshua reject this path.
We follow the example of Joshua of Nazareth — a man, not a deity — who confronted empire, exposed hypocrisy, and taught that people matter more than power.
We commit ourselves to defending those who are silenced, marginalized, or exploited. The measure of a society is how it treats its most vulnerable — and we will always stand on their side.
We oppose systems that elevate a few through greed, fear, or manipulation. We will not tolerate injustice disguised as law, tradition, or divine will.
Kindness is not passive — it is an act of courage. We feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, and care for our neighbors as equals, not as burdens.
These are the roots of cruelty. We choose humility, generosity, and understanding, knowing that no one is greater or lesser than another.
Joshua showed that change begins with ordinary people, treating each other with dignity and walking toward justice together. We lift up humanity — not as fallen beings, but as capable of profound good.
Our armor is integrity. Our sword is truth. Our shield is compassion. We fight not people, but the forces that diminish human freedom and dignity.
No one is above another. No one is left behind. We are a fellowship bound by commitment, not hierarchy.
This is our movement.
This is our calling.
This is the Way of Joshua.
Belief should be a light, never a weapon.
